Bank Ground Farm Hotel - Coniston

My 2 nights in Coniston were very relaxing. The breakfast was sensational and great, overall food was BRILLIANT. The location was stunning, just next door to Brantwood, a historic period house and garden, and which is a lovely scenic route, and the free parking was an excellent bonus. Also, an English historic house museum was 2 km away. No reason to complain, it was dope!

Location: the hotel was next to the centre of Conniston, which is a lovely scenic route and a historic period house. The staff was absolutely friendly and excellent, took good care of everyone.

The room was perfectly clean and bright with an ample bath. Got exceptionally comfortable bed and central heating, multi-channel TV, and coffee and tea making equipment.

The views were amazing, but pets were not allowed inside at all.

Coffee, tea, and milk for breakfast were all excellent. The rooms were impeccably clean and bright, complete with tea/coffee, breath-taking views and an incredible view, and with smoke detectors for safety measures too.

The Family Room had fine views, but pets can't stay inside the hotel.

We had a lovely time here with the family, especially enjoying the cozy family room and the fun boat hire right at the lake. The garden was a great spot to unwind, and the leisure room added to our relaxation. The only thing we noted was the strict no-pet policy, which might be a bummer for pet owners 🐾.

Absolutely fine views over the lake, and we loved kayaking right from the hotel. The log cabin was cozy and had all we needed for a perfect family getaway.

Just a great fit for a fleeting trip in Coniston with extraordinarily good value for money. We had a fantastic time paddle boarding on the private lake. Bring your own food since dining options nearby are limited.

The views were fine, especially from the living area, and we spent afternoons exploring nearby Tarn Hows and biking in Grizedale forest. The kitchen was well-equipped, and staff were super friendly. Ideal for a fun getaway with pals!

Only downside was the unpredictable weather. We faced some heavy rain that limited outdoor plans.
